Jen Pick: Love is Like a Hurricane / Scandalous Seiryo University Let's see, two titles tied for Jen's pick of the year, and they both involve rather sneaky and underhanded bespectacled semes. Coincidence?...	Jordan Pick: Crimson Spell Even though they keep taking OFF the handcuffs instead of putting them ON, this manga had everything: great art, great plot, great sex, and a voyeuristic bunny.

Global BL Award:
Rush #1
This award is for a single book, and Drama Queen's first volume of the anthology Rush absolutely took the cake for global manga this year. Now, if only we could get some follow-up...the runner-up, by the way, was Dany&Dany's The Lily and the Rose, from Yaoi Press.

Crimson Spell

Ayano Yamane's hot fantasy tale won users over right from the get-go-- for obvious reasons. Fumi Yoshinaga's Ichigenme slid its way up to second place at the last minute, with Yamane's Finders series in third.

Emiril Award for Best Title: Yaoi Press' "Zesty."

Mangaka We Never Thought Would Get Licensed: A tie for both Dr. Ten and CJ Michalski, whose tamest titles were brought over this year.

Did They Forget It Was BL?: Black Knight. I mean, really, we love some plot, but uh...

Needle in a Juné-stack: Love Recipe. Juné releases a LOT of books, and some of them start to blur together after a while. But every once in a while we get smacked in the face with a book we really weren't expecting, and the cracktastic Love Recipe was this year's choice.
