Image We just got a press release from Drama Queen. The long awaited volume #1 of Rush is going to print this week. Drama Queen has decided to go with a new volume every 3 months instead of every 2, to ensure quality.

People who have a 6 issue subscription should expect to be contacted by Drama Queen "to discuss all the options available to you."

If you want a peek at what to expect in volume 1, you can check out preview images and inks over at the Rush Blog.

Also from Drama Queen, Audition 2, which is a non-BL title, had some binding issues. If your copy has loose pages or a loose binding please email DQ at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it for a replacement. It's nice to see a company willing to do replacements when errors occur. *cough*KittyMedia*cough*

From The Engine, there is news news about a new Taiwanese BL imprint called 'BLOOM'. Since the announcement has a picture of Gakuen Heaven, I assume this is a company that licenses Japanese BL, and not a new source of global BL.

From Mangablog there is a link to an entry over at Precocious Curmudgeon about top manga sales for March. Juné and Blu both make the top 20. This further confirms my belief that even though yaoi is a niche genre within the manga market, it's a pretty big niche.
