So, the main chunk of the DQ panel was Tranh Nguyen talking about their current titles. Then we got to chat with Lara Yokoshima, a Mexican manga-ka who is creating the title "Master" for Rush (which, by the way, I picked up, and "Master" is very hot, so you should get it too XD).
After that came a Q&A, which I'll talk about after the jump. I wanted to mention the new licenses again, however: Cages and Thorns by Sakuragawa Sonoko, Angel & Devil by Uzuki Jun, and Missing Road by Sakurai Shushushu.

The Q&A was short because Watanabe Asia-sensei's autograph session was about to take place in the same room, but here's some info we did get:
DQ will REALLY not consider doing Brother 2. Get over it. (They didn't say it, but I wanted to.)
They'd like to do other Yuzuha Ougi titles, but they know they can't get Pure Heartedness.
DQ also has a new distribution company, Consortium, a very reputable company (even I'd heard of 'em) who mostly does novels IIRC, but who has apparently long wanted a piece of the manga pie. This will hopefully prevent further difficulties with extremely late orders.
If you'd like to request a title or mangaka, feel free to do so on their forums.
They're "not allowed to talk about" doing any Naono Bohra titles, which (to me) translates to "we're hoping to work out a contract to do one." Yay!
They'd like to do more Masara Minase titles, but there is apparently a "lack of respect" on the Japanese company's part, so it seems unlikely right now.
I can't remember what was said, but I have "UGH - maaaaybe" written down. I think I was hoping that they'd get it, but Nguyen at one point referred to it as "just prison sex," so we'll see. ;)
