You may have noticed a few changes around here at YaoiSuki. That's because we've moved to a new host, and in the process upgraded and altered a bunch of our features (most notably: embedded wiki and better forums). Unfortunately, we lost our user database in the move, so those of you who were signed up will unfortunately need to sign up again. It's a pretty painless process though!

| Ah, amnesia, the old tried and true plot device. Our uke wakes up with no memory of the past two years. During that time he had become involved with a gratuitously angsty and mentally unstable seme. That is so much worse than just waking up and not knowing what you did while drunk last night... or so I would assume. | |
So we have a pattern of the seme trying to cling to or molest the uke while the uke freaks out. Even without his memories Hirofumi still has some feelings for Daigo. He can't reject Daigo or stand to see him cry. All it takes is tears for Hirofumi to do almost anything Daigo wants. His body remembers Daigo's touch.
The story sets up an interesting dynamic. Many stories try to have a way for two people to somehow be meant to be together and have at least one person not know it. This is a good way to set that up. The story is well written, even though I want to throttle Daigo for being so needy. The final chapter shows the couple three years later, which is a nice touch.
While Daigo clearly thinks he is the seme, Hirofumi is the strong willed one who needs to take care of his weaker partner. Maybe all they really need to find happiness is to switch roles.
