So, just to keep you all up with what's going on here at YS, we have some good news and some bad news.
The good news: We have been added to both DMP's and YaoiPress's advanced review copy list! That means we'll be getting copies of some (all?) of their books early so that we can review them. SCORE.
The bad news: We're going to Japan on Tuesday (guh, tomorrow!). That's not actually the bad news, the bad news is that with me being insanely busy over the last couple of weeks (graduating and all that), we've only got a few reviews in queue to update while we're gone (thank god for Jordan).
To make up for the lack of reviews for a couple of weeks (a month, really, if you count the last two), we're going to be doing news updates about our trip on the site whenever we manage to log on to the 'net (I'll have my trusty laptop with me, so expect it to be reasonably frequent). We're going to have our eyes out for anything yaoi/bl, of course, so every time we have something to say, be sure we'll post it ;) We probably won't have a lot to post the first week, but the second week will be spent entirely in Tokyo, so expect to see plenty of updates then.
And of course, after we get back we'll be hopefully getting books to review from DMP and YP (we've also contacted BLU and DQ about the possibility of being on their lists but haven't heard back), so we'll be back on track with reviews!
Oh, and if we decide we've learned enough, we'll also write up a "Buying Yaoi/Doujinshi In Japan" guide. XD
Thanks for stickin' with us guys, you all are awesome. Just don't ditch us forever because the next couple of weeks may be a bit on the bare side, ok? ;)
