You may have noticed a few changes around here at YaoiSuki. That's because we've moved to a new host, and in the process upgraded and altered a bunch of our features (most notably: embedded wiki and better forums). Unfortunately, we lost our user database in the move, so those of you who were signed up will unfortunately need to sign up again. It's a pretty painless process though!

That said: according to ANN, it was announced on March 3rd that Spray (see ANN entry) is developing an anime tv series (NOT oav!) based on BL game Gakuen Heaven (see ANN entry).

Hey everyone, just FYI, we're working on installing a forum system so y'all can chat about your own thoughts on our reviews, yaoi stuff, non-yaoi anime, and whatever the heck you want. Keep in mind that they're still in the working stages, so don't be surprised if things change around every so often-- we're not even sure we're going to stick with the current script (JoomlaBoard). ^_^
It may turn out that only registered users will be permitted to use the board (it depends on whether we can select areas to be registered-only, aka adult-only). We'll try and have a section where under-18s can take part, but bear with us!
Oh, one last thing...there is a small chance that user accounts will be reset as we work with this, or that you'll have to re-sign up to use the forums (X.x;;;). If that happens-- hontou ni gomen nasai!

Okay, well, we were going to have an April Fool's post today, but we kind of went to Canada instead (...that's not an April Fool's joke), so if we do it at all, it will be belated. Sorry ^_^;;
To make up for it, we have two new features!
The first is still in BETA mode, as it were. Presenting...the YaoiPedia! This is a wiki all about yaoi, so jump in and share your yaoi/shounen-ai knowledge!
The second is a bit less exciting: YaoiSuki the LJ Community!
Jordan and I are going to post to the LJ community every time we update (even when we update registered-only articles), so if you have an LJ (or even if you don't), feel free to friend the community for updates!
We also want it to be an actual community-type community, so it's also a catchall comm for yaoi news and discussion, so if you're over 18, feel free to join and chat away! You can even post ads for your yaoi-related site, rpg, etc (just make sure you check the community rules before you do).
Last but not least, we may occasionally post special lj comm-only materials, so be sure you join if you've got an LJ!
