Reminders:
Don't forget about our contest! You can read the contest rules here, and how to enter here. Our deadline is May 1st by noon, Pacific time!
The YaoiPedia is still up, but no one (including us) have been updating it-- I'll get to working on it this weekend, never fear!
Updates:
On the contest again: the prize is now the winner's choice of two BL mangas from our list (see The Fabulous Prizes over here), plus a Sukisho! DVD, a free shirt with their design AND a $20 Amazon gift certificate!
Around mid-June (when Jordan and I return from Japan!), we'll be starting up our next contest. I shan't give details, but suffice it to say that it will heavily involve the forums. So start posting there! ;)
We'll have a new poll up soon, too, I swear. @_@
We'll also review all of the prize manga over the next week or two, so look forward to that. |

Biblos Declares Bankruptcy |

Biblos, one of the biggest publishers of yaoi/shounen-ai in Japan-- they're responsible for FAKE, Wild Rock, Yellow, and many others, see ANN entry --has declared bankruptcy and will not continue publishing any of its lines of manga.
First saw the news on the Yaoi LiveJournal community (thanks DareDare); it has also now been posted to AnimeNewsNetwork.
Everyone, a moment of silence...to pray that their ongoing series (and manga-zine be-boy) will be picked up by other publishers. :X

For those of you who are excited about Gakuen Heaven, the current anime based on a BL game that just started yesterday: the Live-eviL sub of the first episode is a parody, NOT a real sub. The video is real (...mostly...).
But the subs are just for fun and goofy (and mocking of yaoi fangirls). There are also occasional "subliminals" at the top. Not a bad watch ^_~
But consider yourselves warned! No whining to me about it! ;)
