You may have noticed a few changes around here at YaoiSuki. That's because we've moved to a new host, and in the process upgraded and altered a bunch of our features (most notably: embedded wiki and better forums). Unfortunately, we lost our user database in the move, so those of you who were signed up will unfortunately need to sign up again. It's a pretty painless process though!

FYI, ActiveAnime says that 801 Media has licensed a mystery title-- one heavily requested on the DMP forums. I'm listing a few of the titles that got repeated mention on DMP's What Do You Want in English thread (and other similar threads on the site):
Under Grand Hotel*
Pathos
Dousaibou Seibutsu
Denkou Sakka Boys
Toumei Shounen
Boys Next Door
Zetsuai/Bronze
"Anything by Naono Bohra" was also requested a few times.
Edited To Add: We are going to host a guess-the-license CONTEST! The winner will get a copy of the title (or first volume of it) when it comes available. See the rules and make your guesses here!
So, come speculate with us! What do you think it'll be? What do you HOPE it'll be? {mos_sb_discuss:17} |

Just so you know what all we're up to, I thought I'd drop a quick post:
Voting for our contest ends a week from yesterday-- that's Monday the 21st. So we'll declare our winners then!
We're still working on the fanart gallery that won a previous poll about desired site features, and we have two scripts that we're still trying to decide between. Keep an eye on the site, because I'm going to activate both of them for our regular users to play with, so you can decide what you like best!
At some point after the contest we'll be adding new merch with the winners' responses and some of Jordan's and my own designs as well, so keep an eye on the swagshop! (Or, uh, keep an eye here, since I'm sure one of us will post to let you know new stuff is up.)
Aaaand I'm going to Yaoi Con in October (and yes, I'll have stickers with me, so keep an eye out!). I'll be attending the 801 Media launch party and all the industry panels I can, and sending friends to any I can't, so we'll be sure to get as much news to you as possible, as fast as possible. If you want to send money to me so I can upgrade my poor, abused laptop, feel free. ;D
Oh yeah, and reviews! We have reviews on the novels Don't Worry Mama and Only the Ring Finger Knows: The Left Hand Dreams of Him, plus video game Anima Mundi (thanks yaoi_huntress_earth!), and of course, a stack of manga about a mile high. (Or something.)
So, yeah. That's what we're busy with. Be sure to let us know what you think on the forums!

 | Thanks yet again to Dave at LoveManga, who is pretty much doing my job for me in the news department and who has informed me that DQ has licensed Kazuhiko Mishima's "Reverse?!" |

Dave at LoveManga, handy fellow that he is, let us know today that KittyMedia has licensed a new title today: Crimson Spell, by Ayano Yamane. Thanks Dave!
Edited to Add: And Jordan found this interesting book on Amazon today-- Zowie! It's Yaoi!: Western Girls Write Hot Stories of Boys' Love. I have to admit that at first glance, I'm horrified. Anyone know anything about this? (Tina?)

NOTE: If you saw that "suspension" message for the hour or two it was up this morning, never fear! It was a glitch of our hosting service's and we're not in trouble. All is well. ;)
I heard back from Rachel at DMP regarding 801 Media. Of particular interest to those of you who were curious as to whether 801 Media would be an imprint like Juné or not.
She says that 801 Media will be completely independent of DMP in terms of it being a company, but that they will have good relations with each other-- sister companies, she says, rather than parent/child.
And she says that although the titles are pretty well set, she can't give me any hints on them, and I just have to wait until Yaoi Con. And we all know how good I am at waiting! *starts pacing*
I've reprinted her e-mail below the jump. :)
So what titles do you HOPE they'll license? {mos_sb_discuss:17}
