I got a new e-mail from Broccoli teasing the name of their new yaoi
imprint:
"It's a fruit. And apparently, it's something unheard of in Japan? but
it's a commonplace fruit for Americans. Especially if you grew up in
Southern California and went to a particular amusement park in Orange
County that's not Disneyland."
As an Orange Countian, this strikes close to my hometown. Could it
be "Boysenberry" (the fruit of Knott's Berry Farm)? Strange selection,
but that seems to be what the clue is pointing to!
'Boysenberry ' would crack me up. I adore boysenberries, but would never be able to look at them the same way again.

Just to be show offs, 801 Media has mailed their first set of releases early :) Ichigenme and Sky Over My Spectacles started shipping today to people who ordered through their store. That's roughly a month early. Information from their message boards. You need to be registered over there to read the thread, though.
Oh, and also, I know you people must have more contest entries for us. I know there are some brilliant and devious minds out there and I want to see what twisted things you guys can come up with.

I am temporarily taking ALL of the forums down, on the grounds that I woke up this morning to 30 notifications of spamposts, and while I was busy deleting those posts I got notifications of 14 more. And even after I blocked off the public forums, posts continued being made.
The forums should be back up a little later today (e.g. a few hours), but the public forums will stay down until we can figure out a better way to deal with this -_-
Oh, and as long as I'm posting-- don't forget to enter the CONTEST! |

This is just a reminder: the deadline for our contest is Friday, and we've only got a couple of entries-- so it's a wide open game! Send 'em in to win an early copy of Bond(z), before anyone else gets it! XD
Also, we're going to try moving columns to Sunday instead of Wednesday, since the Wednesday date tends to disrupt our review schedule a bit. (Plus that way we'll always have Saturday to finish them up. =P) So, just FYI.

Over on Blu's forums we have some word on the delayed Love Mode and "Love" Pistols. So, hopefully we will see them late spring/early summer. Unannounced titles are also mentioned. Perhaps they mean the Fumi Yoshinaga ones, but since there is a full page ad for Lovers In The Night in the current Diamond Previews I don't know if it really counts as unannounced.
