They’ve started showing animés on TV again! *hurray*
I’m watching Fullmetal Alchemist. I've seen it before but only on DVDs that were utterly bad imports (I’ve never ever seen DVDs with such bad English. I can’t believe they’re allowed to sell DVDs of that quality).
I’m also watching Samurai Champloo and reruns of Naruto, (have only seen them as fansubs before so it’s fun to also see versions were they're translated into my own language).

Well, Fullmetal Alchemist is definitely worth watching, but not dubbed in English. English voice actors suck big time. -.-

After finishing Claymore a while back (Hated what they did with the anime, the manga is so much better) I decided to return to Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei (which I love), Lucky Star (which I love yet again) and Shigurui. I'm also planning on watching all 4°C Studio anime movies/TV shows. (those I didn't watch yet). Oh, and Ghost Hound is quite interesting. ^_^

The import of Fullmetal Alchemist was in Japanese, it was the English text that was really bad. Cry
I don't watch dubbed anime since I really think the sound of Japanese brings more life to the characters. Kiss

Out with the old in with the new. Gungrave, Black Lagoon and Berserk are on my "watching"-list.

I finally finished Lamune (not lacome as I previously typed), it was so very boring but I had to finished it because I watched so much I had to know how it ended.

Started Bartender awhile ago, should finish that up.

I've also just about finished the song of the wind and trees, but thats not really this thread.

Koutetsu Sangokushi is my new crack.  I have no idea how old the series might be, though.

Other than that, I am fascinated by how weird Gundam 00 is.  Nadleeh is special ... but any real discussion of that should have it's on thread with a spoiler warning.

The last season of anime was a bit weak.  I am hoping for better from the new season.

Koutetsu Sangokushi? That aired in spring '07.

The last season of anime was a bit weak.  I am hoping for better from the new season.

Judging from the shows, there are only a few I have high hopes for-- the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei sequel, the Gunslinger Girl sequel, Mnemosyne, and of course gia and I are both all excited about Hatenkou Yugi (aka Dazzle).

If anyone wants winter '08 anime info, she's got one of those handy-dandy cheat sheets of hers up here, btw.

Just finished Uta Kata a day ago. Pretty disapointing. It felt like there were 3 different stories smushed together and rushed. The end was also dispointing, like the writers made a decision, but then backtracked just cause.
Cute BL couple in it, but you dont see them alot.

Just started "Spice and Wolf" yesterday and love it so far. There are 3 episodes up on crunchyroll.com.

The music is really addicting.

Ugh, not watching any of those...
All I get is what I can find on tv.
Blood+
Naruto
Air Gear

Sadly, that's all I get. I'm going to check out Sukisho on veohtv soon though. ^_~

You're kidding right? The FMA dub was very good and most newer DVD releases contain a pretty solid dub. Hell I've ran into dubs I like better than the subs (FLCL, Hare+Guu) Sure many older dubs are horrid but just because you prefer the subs doesn't mean that all dubs are bad.

I have to agree about the FMA dubs- they were awful. Part of speech that were so touching and yank at your heart became really pointless difficult to listen to.

Some dubs are really good, I especially enjoyed the fruits basket dub, but the FMA ones were bad bad bad.
